Day trip to Kea

Top notch fragrances come in small containers and the island of Kea is no exception to this rule. However, the landscape's diversity of mountain and sea makes it feel like it's double the real size. Just an hour away from the port of Lavrio, it offers an ideal plan for a day trip since the ferry arrives at 9:30 am and departs at 4:30 pm on a daily basis (more routes during summer). Hard to find a beach around the island that doesn't make you stop for photos and Kea is full of them. At the same time it is not a popular touristic destination therefore you can enjoy the slow pace of the island without elbowing with the crowds. The town of Kea (Ioulia) is a real gem and such a joy to walk the narrow cobblestone streets while admiring the traditional stone houses.
